Suspension of Public Access to the UBO Register

The Cyprus’ Registrar of Companies announced that, following the decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union (the “Court”), dated 22/11/2022, the access to the Register of Beneficial Owners for the general public has been suspended. The Register of the Beneficial Owners will only be accessible to the Competent and Supervisory Authorities and to the obliged entities, in the context of conducting Due Diligence measures.
